Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP-R) - Registrant

QMHP-R - Registration Requirements

QMHP Registration and Certification is for individuals working at state approved mental health programs or are seeking employment at state approved mental health programs.

QMHP-Registrant has a masters degree in behavioral science that is approved and accepted by our agency for the delivery of professional mental health services.

Exceptions: Bachelor’s degree in nursing (and active Oregon State Nursing License) or occupational therapy
Must provide official transcripts
Must have supervisor complete a competency assessment
Fee is waived from July 1st 2021 - June 30th 2024

Applicants need 1,000 hours of clinical work experience hours as a QMHP-R before applying for testing.
